We've had a bit of a breather and have spent the time reviewing photos from the last year and archiving them. I also got a new computer...yeah. The previous computer was just so dog gone slow! I love this new one though, I just click and things open up!

Also, I've updated my wedding prices to reflect what's going on with my business. I've started to include sales tax in all pricing, so that what you see is what you pay. Hopefully, it's a lot easier to understand.

As for the website, it's unfortunately been at the bottom of things to do. Since it's been down though, we've been looking at completely changing it, and have been weighing different options. We'll have something going soon though, whether it's the same old or not.

I recently took photos of Michael and Katherine. They were a fun couple and I love photos that have a story. She taught in china and the girl on the back of the bike is a pretty common sight. Anyway it was really cute.

Marilee Bridals

I couldn't have asked for better lighting that day. This couple got married here 2 days later, but I liked the fact that they did some wedding photos before the wedding, since I could pick the time which had better lighting, and it wasn't as hurried as it would have been the actual wedding day. We had a really good time. . .and the photos turned out so beauitfully.

Just a note to say that my website is having a little bit of problems right now. The bottom links all still work, but the photo galleries are not showing up. Happy New Year everyone! I have made it my New Year's resolution to spend more time posting to my blog. The end of the year just got so busy- I am going to try and make it more of a priority. I have lots of photos now to post from the last 4 months!

Here are some photos from that last wedding I posted last. Georgous couple, and I just love the Swanson Eco Center in Park City for a wedding. . . And the cake topper in these photos definitely has to be my favorite one that I have seen so far at my weddings!

What a beautiful day it was in Park City this wedding day. I always get excited when I see clouds on days I shoot weddings because I know the pictures will be that much better!

Girl In A Field

It was really nice for photos this year, because it didn't snow for photos this long, that pictures in November were snow free! It sure makes it a lot easier when everyone is not freezing with red faces! I thought this girl was just adorable.

This photo is really funny- I think this dog looks like snoopy doing his happy dance! Cool red wall again. . . Also I have to apologize for my main site not working. We're switching web hosts and it was supposed to be seamless, but it hasn't been.

But, this was a cool new location to photograph at. . . love it! It was beautiful with the fall colors, so you get the best of both worlds with the antiques and the leaves.

I always think it is really fun when a couple comes and brings something for the photo that is personal to them. This couple likes to play chess together, so they brought their chess set with them. I thought the photos turned out really cute!

I wish I had a relative that had an old farm like this. . . It was so fun to shoot family photos here, because of all the different spots that made cool backgrounds.

I wish I had thought to get pictures of my family this summer like this in BYU shirts, since my dad is the biggest BYU cougars fan. These family photos turned out really fun!

Mark and Cyndi Wedding

This wedding that I am posting had to have been one of the hottest days this summer. We were out at 9:30 in the morning in Bountiful, and I couldn't believe how hot it was out there. Even though wedding dresses are not the coolest clothing, I bet the brides are glad they are in white, and not wearing the black suits! I am still working on this wedding, but I really liked how these turned out.

I'm always trying to try out new shots when I go out and photograph, and it's funny how I photograph at the same location many times, and miss great areas to photograph at. These shots turned out really great and I'm glad that I noticed this field this time. . . Love the look the weeds give- very summertime!

David and Nicole Wedding

These are photos from David and Nicole's wedding. This was a really fun reception to photograph because they had both dads and brothers get up and do a YMCA dance in front of everyone. It was a happening party!

Bluebird

It's always fun to see your photos posted on a big company's front page. The picture of the Bluebird Cafe was one I took for them last year. I was pretty excited to see this one up today.

I have driven past the inn, Somewhere Inn Time in Lindon, and I always wondered where people held receptions there. I was so surprised when I found out that it has a beautiful garden area in the back to held an outdoor garden reception. This is Sterling and Lacee's wedding reception there.

Wow, I can't believe I have already hit my 100th post! I guess I've taken a lot of photos!

More Cyndi Bridals

So this is the third time in about a month that we went out here. We bought a new bench for location shoots. Paul found this bench with raised ends that really works well. Only problem was we changed our minds to this piece after he had done the measurements to fit a different bench in the car, and this one was just a little bit too big for my little Mercedes. It's all worth it though.

Cyndi and Mark were both fun to work with. Also, I had a nagging question resolved on the way back... Which way is faster to Provo: I-215 exit from the airport to I-15, or I-80 to I-15. As it turns out, they're exactly the same.

I've been so busy lately, it just never seems like there is enough time to post! I went to the Salt Flats to do bridals yesterday, and here is a preview of what the photos turned out like.

This was quite a fun couple to photograph! We did quite a few different looks for them- a train, the salt flats (which I was quite surprised to discover was half under water!) and an airfield.

Still Working on New Blog

Since we're still working out the kinks on the new blog, I've taken the link down. We've been pretty busy over the last little while. We went out to Wendover's air field, the salt flats, Moab, also some fun new places around the valley that I've never shot at before. Hopefully I'll get around to post some of the pictures soon. This is the latest shoot though, right in the studio. These are some test product shots for a client.
